Welcome to Ellen April, a small, woman owned company dedicated to creating the most gentle and luxurious soap you'll ever use.

While pondering choices for a new creative outlet, I became fascinated with the idea of making soap. But not just any soap. I wanted to create beautiful, artistic and luxurious soaps with vegetable oils using the traditional cold process method. I began by reading everything I could get my hands on about the craft. After months of study, I finally made my first batch of soap. It worked! It was magic! I was hooked!

  
 

After a year and a half of joyful experimentation with umpteen different recipes and hundreds of soap batches, I arrived at a recipe I was proud to call my own. My willing testers all agreed that my soap was terrific. And so the Ellen April soap company was born.

Now in our tenth year, we continue to make every soap with passion and dedication. I hope you'll enjoy my soap and body products as much as I delight in bringing them to you.
